Beth Jolie Martinez, M.S.

Director of Regulatory Services

Ms. Martinez has been instrumentally involved in her industry for 12 plus years. She currently manages the Regulatory Division for an environmental consulting firm based in Orange County, CA. Resolving complex multi-dimensional conflicts with project planning and implementation has become her area of expertise. In addition, Ms. Martinez currently serves as a part time faculty at Saddleback Community College, Mission Viejo, CA. She designed and instructs a class in Environmental Ethics.

Ms. Martinez specializes in providing quality representation on behalf of private and public sector clients to local, State and Federal Agencies. Ms. Martinez leads her clients through the regulatory permit application process and development of compensatory mitigation proposals. Ms. Martinez is a member of The Association of State Wetland Managers, The International Society of Environ¬mental Ethics, The Association of Environmental Professionals, and is trained in formal wet¬land delineation by the Wetland Training Institute.

She holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine (1992) and a M.S. in Environmental Studies, with a concentration in Policy and Planning and an emphasis in Watershed Management and Conflict Resolution (2002).

Ashley Menter

Ms. Menter brings over a decade of management experience in the banking and technology industries to the In Sync Consulting Board.

Currently Ms. Menter leads Global Online Strategy, Analytics and Governance for Websense, a leading enterprise security software company. Ms. Menter also led go-to-market programs and global product marketing for all product lines. Prior to joining Websense, Ms. Menter worked as a Senior Technology Manager for JPMorganChase where she managed IT programs for the Global Investment Bank and founded the first women’s networking group at Chase.

Ms. Menter holds an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Economics from Duke University.

Desi Klaar, MA

Desi Klaar holds a Masters’ Degree in Human Resource Management and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Organizational Development. Mrs. Klaar believes in enhancing employee retention, development and organizational fiduciary responsibility in upper education, while managing a Compensation and Benefits Department. A member of various health and welfare councils that support disease prevention and healthy living, Mrs. Klaar has been instrumental in providing wellness programs for a Trust in the San Diego area.

Alex Marxer

For the last 15 years, Alex Marxer has built bridges between technology and business, specifically in the area of Customer Experience Management – both as a consultant and an executive. Alex thrives on creating and nurturing new business ideas to maturity and delivering first class service to customers. He speaks regularly on a wide range of topics including Out of the Box thinking, CRM and technology trends.

Prior to co-founding Health Travel Guides, Alex came on board at ResortCom International in 2002 as SVP of Operations. Since that time he has been leading a cultural transformation to a process and customer-centric organization, an endeavor culminating in the CRM Implementation of the Year Award by CRM Magazine in 2006.

Alex holds a BA in Business, Languages, and Inter-cultural Management from the University of Passau, Germany. He lives in San Diego with his wife and three kids.
