Through the use of frequent assessments, incremental changes and teaching the importance of clarity and focus, In Sync Consulting achieves stellar results with all our clients. We track their progress every 90 days, after which we give them progress updates to help them find out how far they are from where they would like to be. We then ask them to grade themselves, a mark that becomes their first benchmark. With each assessment we reevaluate their goals and then implement changes into their processes that enable them to adapt to and achieve those new goals.
Ideally, Executive Coaching is a three-way partnership between an executive, a coach and the organization, in which all involved agree on the specific goals and parameters they would like to strive for and achieve. It helps develop and hone the executives’ leadership qualities in the context of their current jobs, without removing them from their day-to-day responsibilities. Through the use of strict confidentiality between the coach and client, there is an increased element of trust that helps promote a healthy relationship with the organization.
Most, if not all, company executives can benefit from Executive Coaching. Many major companies have made coaching a core part of their executive development under the belief that, under the right circumstances, one-on-one interaction with an objective third party can provide a focus that other forms of organizational support often cannot. It can be particularly effective in times of change for the executive, including promotions, stretch assignments and other new challenges. Even those confident in their abilities often feel that an independent sounding board would be beneficial in helping them achieve a new level of performance.
One increasingly common use of coaching for senior executives focuses on the challenges of managing younger workers, and on helping these executives better understand and lead a new generation of employees whose work ethics and values are different than their own.
It should be noted that our Executive Coaching process is not limited to just executives—these methods can also be utilized for performance coaching for middle managers and emerging leaders.
